SOURCE: front axle differential on 2000 chevy silverado

Your pickup leaks just like everyone elses. what you need to do is go down to your local parts store and get an inline fuel filter (your local chevy dealer should also have these available just for this problem), preferably see thru then, where your vent runs up the inner fender cut the line about 4 inches down from the vent and install the filter. this will cure your problem

SOURCE: Broken Chevy 88 Silverado shift indicator. Need Diagram.

The neddle is attached to the column via a thin metal wire and spring which then clips to the edge. Remove the trim above the column and look for the clip attached to the wire and a warn spot on the column and reattach it. :)

SOURCE: 88 CHEVY PICKUP SILVERADO STOPS RUNNING IS JUST WARM

Sounds like a bad ignition coil. Check for spark right after it quits Coils can and do quit working after they get hot. Also check magnetic pick up coil in distributor. After reaching operating temp computer will move the coil and a broke corroded wire loses connection. Then when engine back to cold wire is back in contact and working. Hope this helped.

It plunges down to zero at times then reads eratic

Your oil becomes too fluid as the engine gets warmer. When the engine rotates slower at stops, the oil pump won't make pressure. At speeds, more oil is pumped and the pressure rises.
Have you recently changed your oil? Or maybe is too old. The real problem would be if you read zero at normal cruising revolutions.

Where can i find fuel filter on 2004 silverado?

i own a 2004 chevy z71. general motors did not put an external fuel filter on these trucks in 2004. EPA was trying to get them to do things with as few connectons on the fuel system as possible so there wouldn't be as many places to leak!!!! the fuel filter is built into the fuel pump/sender unit. it is all one piece design you cant even see the filter whith the pump removed you have to change the complete pump assy. i recomend using an oem part from you chevy dealer. parts house pumps dont usually last that long. i work at a carquest and we get bad pumps back alot they dont usually last but about 3 months

Stereo revomal

Chevy was creative with their placement of securing screws. There are others you are missing that probably are not obvious till you look real hard.
