Should be under your hood if it has one. Are you saying your fuel pump quit, or what?
Then your pump is probably going to need to be replaced.
There may be a fuse or circuit breaker in your fuse box, but if that burnt out you'd have engine lights on, and they control more than just the fuel pump.
Sorry to interrupt guys. But I also have a question if that's OK. Any way I put a new fuel pump in my 88 3500 it worked great , the truck sat for 3 months and the new pump quit working , could it be a relay or did I just get stuffed by Advsnced Auto parts ...they don't warranty after 90 days , I think I paid between 130. to 189. For the new pump
I could not find the fuse or relay

fuel filter? how about power to the fuel pump, loose ground wire to chasis? wiring harness? terminals clean at point of connection?did you check the fuel pump relay? Relay is located in electrical center under the hood on the driver side.relay and fuse legend will be on bottom side of cover, you sould be able to switch with another relay that you know works, ie: switch horn relay with fuel pump relay, honk horn to insure both relays are working when either relay is inserted into horn slot. Do you by chance have the electrical schematic drawing for the fuel pump?

I hope this helps a little, you said the fuse box panel is gone....so how do you know some fuses are missing?
I just bought a 1988 silverado also, the wipers ,power windows and windshield washer fluid only work "when they want to" I think I have a bad ground somewhere.
SOURCE: Fuel pump fuse location on an 88 Chevy K1500?
Good evening Michael.
The fuse you are looking for is behind the plastic cover on the firewall on the right side. It may be a little disguised in a fuse holder. It is very near the battery junction box pins and fuse links. It's a 10 amp fuse and it supplies power to the relay for the fuel pump.
Hope this cures your problem.
Thank you for using FixYa!
Testimonial: "This was somewhat helpful, I think there is a 20A fuse in it now. I picked the truck up at an auction so no owners manual. Thanks for the info!"

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button

before you drop tank again, check fuses & relay.then disconnect fuel line @ filter turn key to on position should hear fuel pump run and get gas stream out of line. if no flow from line new pump faulty be sure & remove negative battery cable first good luck.

it stopped running
I found a relay on the fire wall behind a plastic shroud , it also had s fuse on it , I put in a new pump on my 3500 it worked great, went yo drive it 3 months later and it quit working again ...I can hear the relay click when I turn on the key and the fuse looks good. Si I think maybe Advsnced Auto Parts sold me a week pump or am I missing something ?Advanced only warranty the pump for 90 days di I might be out the money...can anyone tell me anything else you check for this problem besides buying another pump
