Please elaborate this.
the engine wont shut down, at key off>
the tranny A/T will not stick in drive. how can it do that?
are you saying the A/T transmission shift lever is stuck in
PRNDL. lever.
in D, L or 2 or 1? stuck, means you can move the the lever.
and all cars shift to Neural at any time. from any gear.
(cables seizures , excepted)

my wild guess, is the dash lamps (cluster) glows, key out?
tell all things that glow, key out (skip Headlamps and parking lamps
as the always glow key off, if active)

Suzuki forenza wont start. headlights radio interior lights all work but car wont click or turn over at all

Batter's good if lights work. No clicking usually means the starter is bad. Unfortunately, it's a push it or two it to the mechanic.

Hi my 2006 Jeep Liberty won't start or turn over all keep hearing is this click sound when I turn the ignition , Plus I just replaced the battery .

Probably a starter. It sounds like the starter solenoid is working, but the starter motor is not energizing.

You could try this simple trick, but Im about 85% sure you have a bad starter.

Have a buddy help you push the vehicle in neutral for a short distance. When you get it moving at a walking pace, put the transmission in Drive, and let the vehicle come to a stop. You may hear a little clicking, but thats OK, it wont hurt anything. Put the transmission back in Park and try to start the engine again. Sometimes the starter gear gets stuck on the flywheel and it wont engage when you try to start the engine. This trick may move the flywheel a little so the starter can engage.

Turn key all power to every thing wont turn over

Check the batter terminals clean them. Check all fuses, Check the cable going to the starter, clean all connections to the starter. If it still doesn't work jump the starter with a jumper wire to the + side of the battery.

Battery is dead and I want to charge it and take it in for replacement

Boost your car with jumper cables and let the car idle or drive around for about 20 minutes for the alternather charge the batter on its own .if the car shuts off after you started it might be your alternather is no good . the reason why ur alternather might not be working is because the batter all it does is give enough power for the starter to crank the engine as soon as the engine starts running it gets all its juice from the alternather and it charges the batter as well. but some times when the alternather works and the batter is dead meaning all the cells inside the batter are dead it will never take the charge from the alternather. so you would have to change the batter.

if you would like to know how you can you test both parts useing a volt-a-meter... just ask...

p.s. I think its ur batter if you never changed it. so get that changed for the winter so you wont have any more starting problems during cold wheaters

Wheel removal

loosen the lug nuts and drive it in a circle slowly until the wheel loosens (one at a time). only loosen the nuts about 2 turns-no more. i had to do this at the dealer for years. put that axle nut back on before driving the truck.
good luck
