Does your car have DRL option (canada) daylight running lights?)
my answer will be, non export jeep. USA jeep, no one ever says !!!!
the tail lamps are not brake lamps.
they are independant.
there are many parking lamps , and the tails are that.
do all parking lamps fail>? see FSM page 8w50-2
the tails run directly to the park headlight switch pin, marked park.
which gets power from fuse 34
the same switch and pin runs all other park lamps and same fuse 34.
so if the fuse is good, then all lamps are burned out , nah.
or the switch is bad, and can due to so many lights for so long.
if lamps are not dim then here is no short, so must be an open
Fuse 34 tops list , use an ohmeter to test the fuse. or replace it
as , they can get hair line cracks. inside fues
0 ohms = good, infinity = bad fuse.

SOURCE: i wired up a 4 pole trailer wiring harness up and

You need to purchase the trailer wire kit that has a solid state module that will allow the lights operate correctly. It plugs right in the factory socket, no cutting of wires are needed, and it costs around 40 dollars. It is the only way to go for your vehicle.

SOURCE: Tail lights dont work when

On your vehicle you have two fuse/relay boxes underneath the hood of your car. the box that you want to look in is the integrated power module box. It is the one closest to the battery (Right behind it). I don't have a diagram for the layout of the box but inside that box is a micro relay for your park lamps. This may be your problem. It is located in the # 7 position. If I remember correctly the # 6 position is another micro relay and the # 8 position is 10 amp fuse (red) so it should be between those to if that is any help. I would try that next. You can feel if someone turns on the lights with your finger to see if it is engaging. If you don't feel that engage, check to make sure it is getting power there as to not waste money on a relay you don't need. I hope this helped and good luck.

How do i remove the sensor for the rear tailgate?

1) Locate and remove sensor.
The sensor is located under the drivers tail light. Unclip it from the body and then unplug it.

2) Bypass the tail light circuit.
Connect the tail light signal wire (Green) to the tail light wire (Green w/ Red Stripe). I recommend using wire tap in squeeze connectors that way you dont have to cut any wires.

3) Bypass the brake light circuit.
Connect the brakelight signal wire (Green w/ White Stripe) to the brake light wire (Red w/ Blue stripe) and the the 3rd brake light wire (Red w/ White Stripe). Again all three of these wires are to be connected together.

4) Throw away your broken Tail Lamp Failure Sensor
Do not plug your sensor back in. Doing so will cause the annoying orange lamp failure warning light on your dash to stay on. Leave it unplugged ant the light will stay off.

5) Test your work
Turn on your lights and make sure your tail lights work properly. Have a friend step on the brake pedal, and make sure your brake lights work properly as well. Dont forget to check the Third brake light.

All my lamp indicator lights keep flashing. blickers work. when you step on break the break lights work. but when driving no tail lights

First replace the tail light bulbs. The tail light and brake lights are different filaments in the same bulb. it is very possible for the tail lights to go out while brake lights still work. And somtimes the tail lights can blow out together.
If you change the bulbs and still dont work then look for other problems.

On 2002 jeep laredo brake lights dont turn on if lights arent on

That does not make any sense. Do the tail lights work? There are supposed to be separate filaments for brake lights, tail lights, and turn signals. In particular the center brake light should not be possible to be confused with tail lights or signals. Does it come on? If not, then you probably have no brake lights at all, and that is probably because of the bad fuse or the switch on the brake pedal for the brake lights.
If there is some sort of cross over between tail light and brake lights, that is usually from a bad light socket ground; which results in current backing up from one system to another. But then each is usually only half brightness.

Tail lights dont work

Replace the bulbs.
The bulbs will have two seperate elements in it which is why the brake light works.

Take the bulbs out and you will see the seperate elements.
