SOURCE: loud clicking noise

It sounds like one of your pistons are bad as in the connecting rod pin's to the piston is loose and your getting to much internal engine pressure, that's why your getting lot's of oil coming out the top if your engine. Sorry for the news friend but time to retire the car, the cost is going to be greater to repair then replace.

My 2001 xterra started making a weird sound between 20 and 35 mph. It sounds like there is a leak in some pressure system.

Common Car Noises and Their Likely Causes Noise More Details Likely Cause Fixing It Clicking noise while turning Starts faint, gradually becomes more noticeable until very loud Failed outer CV joint (constant velocity joint) due to torn boot (most likely) or old age Replace either the whole axle assembly (recommended) or the outer CV joint Water pump noises Difficult to diagnose because of water pump's location Noise usually caused by damage to the bearings in failed water pump Only cure is replacing it. If possible do it at the same time as a timing belt replacement to cut down on labor costs Squeak or squeal from an engine belt Loud, high-pitched squeak or squeal Belts either need adjustment or replacing If belts only squeak when damp, they probably just need adjustment. If they squeak constantly, they probably need to be replaced Exhaust heat shield noises Rattle that you hear when car is idling Damaged heat shield Replace heat shield

2000 crv honda just got a new timing belt and water pump after a couple of days now it make a noise (loud clicking noise) when I start it up

The noise you describe may be due to hydraulic tappet leak back form a oil that is of the incorrect viscosity or a cheap oil filter that doe's not have an anti leak back valve in it .The noise is until the oil pressure builds up and makes the hydraulic tappets work properly.

I have a 99 Ford Superduty 7.3 Diesel. It is making a really bad grinding/screeching sound just after it starts and is warming up. It wouldn't ******* off all the way even after the key was turned

indicates that the starter motor is stuck in the ring gear
possibly faulty starter relay or starter solenoid
pull the starter as the pinion over ride clutch is probably damaged ( noise ) and have the start circuit and relay checked
have the starter bench tested for serviceability by an accredited auto electrician

Wont start keeps making clicking noise

If you can hear a click (quite loud) from the engine compartment, but the starter won't crank, this also could be caused by discharged battery-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Injector clicking noise

Are you sure this isn't a valve train related noisy? Injectors aren't that loud. Use a mechanics stethoscope and listen to the noise or have a shop listen to it for you.

The car died on sode of road now will not start but will try and turn over makes a loud clicking noise

Your alternator has died in which has drained you're battery, You wont be able to get home unless you get it towed. The loud clicking noise is normal, dont worry, all it is is you're starter trying to start the car but it doesent have enough power to do so.

2005 Buick LeSabre heated seat not working

The heated seats have relays that run them. Not quite sure where they are located but. That noise is the relay clicking on and off. They are actually pretty loud. Look for faulty connections to and from the relay and check battery power to both sides of the relay.
