During sub zero conditions with a failing alternator I had to have car started twice on the way home the other day. First time with power pack 2nd with jumper cables. As battery power was failing dash lite up with brake and abs lite tranny lite. And a dash message fuel comp data error, also lost speedometer and odometer. replaced alternator dash still lit up no compass or outdoor temp. volt meter checks out ok. check diagnostics at O'reilly's no codes!! Engine mechanicals seem to operate fine. Help

check the fuse for the alt. power supply box under the hood should be a big fuse

The throttle body needs cleaning. It has some carbon build up, and when the battery went dead the computer lost its learned values, one of which is base throttle position. Now its reset back to factory specs, not accounting for a dirty throttle body. Seen it a million times

sound to me like there a short in a fusable link somewhere and the computer could be involved.
