I waited a few minutes and the dash board lights started coming on when I turn the key and the CD changer makes noise but I cant lock the car with my remote.
How do I unblood a car that has being flooded with to much gasoline
The manual covers this, the IMMO is active. ?
car will not crank, is that it? it must crank to start. so cranking is 1st.
you turn the key and the IMMO LAMP must NOT be showing its blocking starts. is it
do you have full batteryvoltage. 12.6v at the battery terminals
I waited a few minutes and the dash board lights started coming
that means the battery is dead.
the dash waring lights must come on ,at key on, fast
if not we fix that first. that means power lost, 12vdc power loss.
use a voltmeter. at battery
SOURCE: Hi,I have a 91 honda
this was a problem with my 91 accord as well. it would irritate me to no end because one minute she would start and the next she wouldnt....i did notice that she would have a lot more trouble starting if it was a hot day or if i left her out in the sun for long periods. anyeays, the mechanics at the shop said this was a common problem with this model car due to a malfunctioning chip that does not tolerate heat very well..... luckily they were right and i was in and out of the shop in no time.
SOURCE: 93 honda wont start after driving for a few miles
sounds like the main pgm fi relay if happens again when you go to start firstly switch ignition on and listen to see if fuel pump runs for a few seconds and stops
SOURCE: Honda CR-V Will Not Start
Yes, definitely check the wiring to the BAT terminal of the starter, check for an open or bad ground in the starter. The latter has to be done with the engine cranking.
@Shelly
Your problem is a little different. It sounds like a fuel delivery problem.
Check for a weak fuel pump (fuel pressure and fuel volume tests)
Check for a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
Check for a restricted fuel filter. (usually also a lack of power)
Check for a faulty fuel pump check valve.
SOURCE: left key in ignition overnight, now car wont start
I have a 2005 honda odessey. I left the key in the ignition in the on position. The battery is dead. Do I have to recharge or will it recharge over night?
SOURCE: Engine won't start. Dash lights flash rapidly when key turned.
the battery says 12 volts but may be dropping to 4 or 5 under a load...i would suggest jumpstarting the car and see what happens.the battery should read in the high 12 volts and not less than 9.5 under cranking. the dash lights go out on your car when starting, and the alarm will go off ,and disable the ignition if the voltage is too low in cranking the car because the computer will shut it down and activate the anti theft.....check your battery posts are tight. best of luck
