check the fuse.. it will be labeled cig lighter or something close to that on the fuse box panel.. if the fuse is ok theres most likely a problem in the wiring somewhere
I always use a test light and check them all. Usly faster then looking up which fuse it is. Here is a diagram of fuse block anyhow. CIG stands for cigarette lighter.
you could do this by running 2 wires directly from the battery to the back of the cig lighter and by fusing the positive.if it is only when using the cig lighter and not when charging a phone ect.it could be element on the cig lighter shorting
The Cigarette lighter is run off of a 20A fuse located in the engine compartment just behind the battery. The fuse map will say P-Out and is in position #14. Hope that helps.
