It's not that easy. Yes, 2 bolts hold the starter down but you have to remove the whole intake manifold to access the starter to remove it.

First disconnect neg battery cable.
Jack up car, use tape or marker to mark wires on solenoid. Than remove the two nuts that hold on wires. Disconnect the all three wires. Two have bolts, and one just unclips.
Than remove the 2 starter bolts and either pull up starter or drop down if there is room.

disconnect the cable to the battery........there is 3 bolt holding the starter to the engine/transmission housing. You may need to remove the air intake manifold to gain access to the work area.

you will need to disconnect the positive cable from the battery then you will need to locate the starter you will have two or three bolt that you will need to remove then disconnect the wiring from the starter and mark wires so you know where they to remove the starter and replace in reverse...hope this helps you out please leave a review thanks sincerely D.Jones

The starter sit on top I belive on the passenger side above the transmission, have some one hold the key to start while you tap or even hit the starter some time it will crank over if it does replace it, not that big of a job. If it still dont start there a big wire that one comes from the battery and a small one that come from you ignition switch ( key ) jump those two wire's ( if stander transmission make sure you have it out of gear ) there should be voltage at big wire all the time, if it still dont crank over replace starter assembly.Hope this was very helpful.

either your sensor is faulty, or you need t oservice your brakes. best to have a pro look at it unless you are experienced with brakes...they are quite important for safety, and you should not ignore the warning.

i havnt worked on a 2004 but all the hondas i worked on the starter was on top of the trans runing inline with the valve cover on the 4 cyl i dont know what motor you have hope this helps some
