I have a 1996 Saturn SL-2. I recently changed the front brakes. Everything was fine, up until now. The brake pedal holds pressure periodically. At times, I have to press the pedal to the floor. I checked fluid levels and it seems to be fine, an I get no brake MIL. What seems to be the problem?

I bled all 4 lines. But I bench tested my MS and it wasn't holding pressure in the lines. I replaced the MS. Also, I changed the rear wheel cylinders, drums and shoes and realized that the RR star screw adjuster wasn't adjusting itself at all. I found this out after reversing numerous times. After some banging and pinching, everything was fine. The adjuster finally decided to work. No more worries! I appriciate the advice. Thanks for all your help.
when you changed the brakes did you bleed the brake lines?
