Could be a bad starter selenoid. A new starter or selenoid should correct the problem.

SOURCE: 96 HONDA ACCORD WONT START

have you chkd the + pos. connection from the battery to the starter?this could be loose and not giving the starter enuff power to turn the car over,or..if you do get a "click" when you try to start it then it could be silonoid on starter(it has two wires on it and most of the time it is connected to the starter however some cars have them on the side of the engine compartment, those types you can replace without replacing starter as well) if you had corrosion on the pos. terminal and wires it may have corrosion in the wire you cant see,i have seen that a few times.clean or replace the wires that have corrosion in them and try to start it, if no start just the click, try the other option i gave you...
hope this helps you out!!!

Sounds like a fuse for the DC-DC convertor to battery circut or the DC-DC convertor. Check the fuses under the hood but DO NOT attempt to fix the convertor yourself because there are LETHAL amouts of voltage in the hybrid drive system.

Try smacking the starter with a blunt object ( hammer or something ) Smack it several times while cranking. It may free up. Listen for the click at the starter. Its prabably a bad starter. Common symptom your describing. If it does start replace the starter.

It could be your fuel pump relay this exact thing happened to me before there is a little box in your trunk on the drivers side kind of where your trunk lid attaches to the rest of the car there usually kind of hidden but dig your hand around in there and you should find it if your lucky it will be one of the ones with a reset button push the button and try again your car should start if thats the problem.

Now if its one of the ones with a little **** in it its gonna be a bit more complicated youre gonna have to take it off the car what its attached with varies by car but take that ****** off unplug it then give it a little shake if you can hear something floating around then theres your problem youll have to take something like a nail file put it in the whole then just sort of slowly move it around until you no longer hear that piece floating around plug it back in but dont completely re-attach because it might take a couple of tries anyway try it out and if it works then go ahead and completely re-attach it

i know it sounds kind of stupid but this happens ALL THE TIME its a safety feature but it can be set off really easily by going over a bump to hard someone knocks into your car etc

mine was caused by an idiot kicking my car in the exact location of the box :)

good luck happy driving

2005 honda accord . Started hooking up the battery backwards , now it want do anything

Trace the positive ( red ) battery cable from the battery to the main under hood fuse block and see if it has a fuse where the cable bolts in the fuse block. Most newer cars have a high amp fuse to protect the system from this.

2005 honda accord could not start

My daughter's Camry did the same thing. Odds are the battery is shot. Pull it out and take it by a parts store to get it tested. Her's showed a bad cell and once a new one was put in, the problem went away.

Car stopped working

I had a very similar problem with my 2005 accord a few months ago. Try jump starting the car with jumper cables. If the car starts and everything works normally, then the battery is probably your problem. This turned out to be my problem. Good luck.
