Make sure the speaker wires in the car do not have one side grounded.the output on the clarion is a floating output and cannot be grounded.the best solution is to look at the wiring on each of the speakers, and match them out to the ones on the clarion.the most common colr code is white front left, gray front right green rear left and purple rear right.each speaker has a plus and minus.mixing them up will result in the speakers being out of phase and result in poor bass performance.i would wire the wires directly to the clarion using crimp connectors.the first thing i would do is power up the stereo out of the car to 12 volts, and using a speaker make sure you have sound coming out.the yellow wire which is the clock/memory is a must to be connected to constant 12 volts or no sound can result

The radio and the cd turns on but no sound comes out after having the battery replaced. The vehicle is a 05 Mercury Mariner

radio runs off two power wires, one full time power and one switched power check to see which is working. turn the key to acc. and see if power stays on with car off, check all fuses. open the hood and look at battery cables, look to see if everything was hooked up right and if there is a amplifer in your car could be a fuse on the line to the amp either next to the battery or next to the amplifer.

How to flush the anti-freeze in1997 gran marquis

remove bottom and top caps from radiator, turn car on, place water hose in radiator, turn water on slow, let run for a while, making sure water is constantly coming out of the bottom of the radiator. keep an eye on hose to ensure water is not coming out too fast and that the hose does not come out of the radiator. watch color of water at the bottom, wait till it is totally clear before taking the hose out and shutting off the car. make sure you turn car off the allow all the water to come out. replace bottom cap, then fill with 50/50 fluid to proper level and fill side container to proper level as well
