Stop engine and restart then it works for 10-15 miles does it again
Has memory codes P2104-P2111-P2112
P2104 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Idle
P2106 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power
P2111 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open
P2112 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed
P2135 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch “A” /"B" Voltage Correlation
I looked it up and I will give you a web site I got it from http://www.f150online.com/forums/v8-engines/280570-p2104-p2106-p2111-p2112-p2135.html I hope this helps
All three of the codes have to do with your Throttle Actuator Control System:
P2104- Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Idle
P2111- PCM indicates the throttle plate is at a greater angle then commanded
P2112- Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed
Possible Causes:
Possible causes:
Binding in the Throttle Body, Stuck open,
TAC Motor circuit are cross wired
TAC Motor harness circuits are shorted together
Damaged PCM unit.
The first code P2104 says a few thing
Open or short in Multiple accelerator padel position
Damaged APP sensor
Damaged power train Control module
but it is set with other DTC code and should troubleshoot other codes first.
P2111 PCM indicates the throttle plate is at a greater angle then commanded, Possible causes:
Binding in the Throttle Body, Stuck open,
TAC Motor circuit are cross wired
TAC Motor harness circuits are shorted together
Damaged PCM unit.
P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Stuck Closed. Possible causes is same as above.
Tell your dealer technician to follow pinpoint test DV1 in the workshop manual. (but also to reference test QE1) DV1 deals with him/her checking the throttle position voltages, if these voltages are not within spec, proceeding with checking for obstructions in the throttle body, then if this passes, he/she checks the wiring to the TAC assembly.
There are many steps in this test and since the truck isnt here i can't tell you where the test will go (throttle body assembly, PCM, etc.) most likely it will be the throttle position sensor which is a part of the throttle body assembly or a simple connector coming unplugged or wiring being cut, but once again since i don't have the truck in front of me i can't be 100% sure.
Good luck. hope this helps, Worst the throttle body may have gone bad and need to be replaced.
Did the computer ...replaced throttle body..fixed the wiring .finally replaced the spark plugs and it fixed it! codes were p2104..p2112
I have the same codes and loss of power and throttle cuts off. problem only happens when it is wet out. ford dealer could fix because they could not reproduce problem. they the throttle recall work but that did not help. 2006 freestyle
