It could be the power steering belt. It could be wheel bearings. Check front shocks and also the front caliphers.

SOURCE: I have a shake in my 2009 Mustang Gt Convertible

oopps! will you please check your tires if there is bubble cause of over filling of air or maybe to much air. Try to feel it using the sense of your palm, just the top only not the side of the tire. Do not use your vision because sometimes you can not see it, just feel it by your hand.

SOURCE: My steering wheel rotates back and forthYou can

You need to verify that you don't have a low tire first,After that have the wheels checked on a spin balancer to check for a bent wheel,If you can't see a bend wheel problem,it will be a seperated tire or the steel belt shifted in one tire,You can rotate the tire to get that feeling out of the steering wheel until you replace ties.

The steering wheel starts to shake when I make slow sharp turns. Usually when parking or in aparking lot. Power steering fluid level is fine and fluid doesn't look dirty. Suggestions?

a steering wheel shake with the wheel fully turned usually indicates a seizing constant velocity joint (axle). it can also be accompanied by a clicking noise while turning at higher speed. this is easy to confirm. raise and support the front of the vehicle and put in neutral. turn the wheels by hand with steering wheel pointed straight ahead. there should be minimal resistance. then try rotating the wheels with the steering wheel turned all the way to one side then the other. if you feel any extra tightness or binding, you indeed have a seizing joint. if the axles look ok visibly, you will need to remove the axles to confirm which side is the problem. good luck!

Key won't come out of the ignition, even after I press the button in the steering column

Your steering wheel is turned to hard to left or right, lightly turn away from the left or right to remove key. if not shake steering wheel like mad to the left and right and turn key and remove.

No headlights or turn signals on my 1988 mustang

Check the turn signal dimmer switch. It is under the steering wheel. You will need to take the steering wheel off. See if any wires are loose or damaged going to the turn signal switch. Good Luck!

Shaking steering above 60mph

First we need to know where is the shaking noise coming from?Is your car a 4X4?If noise comes from a driven wheel it can be the differential system or bearing also.Usually the speed you have specified is pointing to wheel alignment problem. Also can advice to go to a different tire shop and check wheel alignment again, also ask the mechanic to check the state of your wheels and tires. One of them may be damaged .
