Any help would be great.. some blogs say to cut vacume lines coming form the programmer but I am not sure I want to do that yet

There is a mix damper inside your duct that controls the heat over heater core and ac evaporator that to your floor and one to your defrost. it is probable an electric actuator, that is not functioning properly. If yu can locate it and manually move it, you might have to remove the actuator motor first, you should be able to figure out your problem, I hope this helps! merry Christmas!

Start by checking the blower resistor. It should be under the dash on the passenger side near the blower itself. You will need to remove the glove box to access it. It is a small plate that has only a few screws and a group of wires that go to a plug in the center. Unplug it and remove the screws. When you pull it out it should look like a series of small spring shaped coils. Most likely one or two of them will be burned up. Replace it in reverse order and your blower should start working again. If this is not the problem then test the fan motor itself. Hope this helps. Good luck.
