'96 Chevy Monte Carlo- codes P0441 and P1655

My '96 Chevy Monte Carlo was diagnosed with codes P0441 and P1655. Does this mean for sure that the EVAP cannister purge valve is faulty? Where is this located and does it require any special tools to replace?

How do I get the code 1655 to clear on a 97 Chevy ventura

DTC P1655 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Purge Solenoid Control Circuit !
Output Driver Modules (ODMs) are used by the PCM to turn on many of the current-driven devices that are needed to control various engine and Transaxle functions. Each ODM is capable of controlling up to 7 separate outputs by applying ground to the device which the PCM is commanding on. Unlike the Quad Driver Modules (QDMs) used in prior model years, ODMs have the capability of diagnosing each output circuit individually. DTC P1655 set indicates an improper voltage level has been detected on ODM B output 5, which controls the EVAP purge solenoid.
You could have a wiring problem ,or the purge solenoid or the driver in the PCM ! More then likely it's the EVAP purge solenoid !

Where the evap vent valve solenoid on a 1998 chevy monte carlo

well most evap solenoids are either on the back by fuel tank, by differential, or infront by firewall or wheel fender wells which need a lil dissasembly. probably a vacum leak first check ure gas cap that it actually locks and reset code if comes back either a leak to the solenoid or bad connector corrosion maybe.

Cylinder one on monte carlo 2003

If the code is 301 it means there is no power from that cylinder. It could be a problem with the ignition, fuel injector, or something mechanical.

Code P1655 NO DTC

Huh??? If there is a code P1655 then tere IS a DTC! DTC means Diagnostic Test Code. The DTC you have is P1655. So, I am not sure exactly what you are trying to say here.

DTC P1655 is a "Vehicle Specific" code. The only way to know for sure what the problem is, would be to look the code up based on the specific Year, Make, Model and Engine Size of the vehicle we are talking about.

For MOST GM vehicles, the code description is P1655 "EVAP Purge Solenoid Control Circuit".

I can't verify this without knowing what you are working on and cannot give yopu any specifics on how to repair it for the same reason.

1996 monte carlo had codes P0341, P0441, and P1655 come up. help!!!! how much work or cost is this gonna be for me?

P0341: Its a Camshaft Position Sensor (CPS) $30 to $40
P0441: Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow.
P1655: Evaporative Purge Solenoid Control Circuit. $18 to $24

Looks like you have an Emission problem and if you buy the parts and put them your self, Then it will be cheaper. Good luck

Hard start and engine hesitation at highway speed

The PO441 has to do with your HO2S 2 (Oxygen sensor). You need to check to make sure the wire is not off of the sensor and check the grounds to the Oxygen sensor. Could be a bad Oxygen Sensor. The other code has to do with your Evap system Purge solenoid circuit. Has to do with detecting an improper voltage level. Could be a shorted Purge solenoid.
