Remove screws from steering colum and remove cover,
you will need a drill, needle nose plyers and a very small screw driver phillips.
step one. drill 1" into cylinder.
located on bottom of colum is a small hole with a pin in it.
step 2, push pin up, if it does not move drill 1/2" more in to cylinder.
stop if you reach a small shaft that is kinda loose and has a brass washer or steel washer on the outside of it. remove small shaft with plyers. once the cylinder is drilled it should unlock, turn it and push the pin up untill it comes out

Are you near a public library? The system here carries the Chilton repair manual for this car. It gives step-by-step instructions on how do the swap. That would be your least expensive option. Buying the manual at an auto parts store would be the best if you plan on keeping the car & performing additional maintenance in the future.
