thats how key entry works as to fob -dead battery--failure

If it is not iwritten n your owners manual in the glovebox then you will have to get it from the dealer(need ownership)

check your furl pump for proper pressure

check the crank shaft sensor ,check the timing belt . check the coil , check the fuel pump pressure

I have a Saturn vue 2003 my problem is with the alarm ,for some reason when im going to use my remte to open door it doesn't work I took out battery and it works just fine but again it starts I open door with key to turn car on and my car shuts off can anybody help me with this

Try powdered graphite in the lock cylinder. NOT liquid but powdered. You can get it at auto parts stores or better grade at any good locksmith. Comes in a squeeze tube, couple of puffs into lick and work it in. It takes a short amount of time but it works great.

it could be the ignition or fuel system's failure. but most cases to this kind of trouble it has failure to their igniter( ignition coil).

The Saturn's had bad spark blocks they would heat up and shut down when it cools it would start back up.

My 2004 Saturn Vue had the same problem. I thought the ignition had to be changed and I drove the Vue a long time with the key hard to turn and pushing it in before turning it. I mentioned it to a Saturn Dealer mechanic while having warranty work done. He told me a new key had to be made using the key code (located on the inside panel on the driver door). They made it and it totally fixed the problem. I think any GM dealer can do that for you.

Rather then replacing a bunch of parts because someone suggested it could be this or that , your best bet , take it to a qualified diagnostic technician . One that has the knowledge an testing equipment . Could be any number of thing's . guessing doesn't work .
