In the old OBD1 system the blinking of 5 5 is telling you that it's the end of the stored codes... you have a 96, you should have an OBD2 port someplace on your van. Go to an auto parts store and have them read your codes for free. Then post that code here.
p0300 is usually a random multiple misfire and p0355 is an Ignition Coil E Primary. The P0300 code is triggered because of the P0355 code. Go to Cylinder 5, 1st-Replace the coil, 2nd-Replace the plug, 3rd-Check compression
