Window on drivers side won't go up i need an easy solution

Could be the master switch because the drivers window is mostly used, or the window motor/regulator. same reason. Easy to check with a volt/ohm meter. You'll need wiring/pin outs for electrical.

depends if it is an power window as it could be a bad fuse, relay, switch, connection, wire broken or the power window motor. each needs to be checked out. if its a manual window it could be the window regulator that is bad. so as you can see it can be both expensive and not expensive. won`t know until the problem is found.

take door panel off it has probably fell off runner

replace switch! if still don't work check the window motor!

fuse needs to be replaced. probably in the engine compartment or under dash.

Probably the power window motor.
You would need to know if the motor is getting voltage.

Sounds like you need a new thermostat. They are cheap and easy to replace.

Windows/regulators/motors on early 2000 GM vehicles are notoriously weak and failure prone-it will need to be replaced to correct, there is no easy fix-about $200 at an average body shop.

First check your fuses (Manual should have that location for the window fuses). Also do the other windows go down on the other side with the switch on the drivers door? And what else doesn't work ( Mirrors, Locks )?

The only problem with this vehicle is that it needs a new window switch on the passenger side door.If the main switch on the drivers door works and the one on the door that the window won't go up on won't work it replace the switch on that door they all work on the same fuse.
