Engine and tire light stuck on

All of a sudden the service engine light and the tire pressure light came on and won't go off. I opened and reclosed the gas cap and checked the tire pressure button under the e-brake for crud. The lights continue to stay on. Any ideas?

The easiest and cheapest thing to do is disconnect the battery for at least 60 seconds. This will reset the computer and should reset the lights.(NO this dosn't harm anything except you will have to reset your radio stations) Most of the time it can take a day or so for the lights to go out once the battery has been disconnected.

My 2005 infinity has all of a sudden thrown me 3 different lights. Service engine soon, vdc off, and slip. I recently had a flat and got a used tire put on. The car stalls to start and is now cutting off...

Your tire sensors are sensing different size tires./ Your tires are rotating at different speeds because of the size difference. put the same tires on the front axle if front wheel drive. and the same tires on the rear if rear wheel drive. be sure to match tire pressure.

Tire pressure monitor fault

Tire pressure sensors are just that, sensitive. If all your tire have the proper pressure and you still are seeing the sensor light and it comes back on after resetting it then the computer sensor monitor is at fault. Unless you can reset your cars' computer you will probably be stuck with going to the dealer for service. Call various other reputable service centers that have certified mechanics before turning out the big green at a FORD dealership though.

Engine light won't go out

When my engine light comes on, it's usually because my gas cap it loose and I open and reclose it, making sure it is closed correctly and after several miles of driving, the light goes out.

Tire pressure monitoring system needs service since it stays on. I had tires rotated recently an8d there were warnings. I had them reajust tire pressures 80 back and 55 front. A new light came on that...

Check to see if the sensors are reconnected. If they are, lower rear tire pressure to 55 to 60 and recheck status light. You will have to turn the engine off and back on to reset.

That is a stretch but it has worked for me on other Chev models.

P.S. Confirm 55 x units mbar KPa Psi with tire pressure gauge.

Mistu eclipes check engine light came on - it looks like this (!) what does that mean?

This is a low tire pressure indicator.

If the light is illuminated, it means one or more of your tires have fallen below 28 psi.
Take the vehicle to a shop or gas station and have the tires aired back up to 32psi (or your preference for pressure)
The light will go out after about 1/4 mile of driving at the right pressures.

If the light is flashing, you have a fault in the tire pressure monitor system and require service from a Mitsubishi dealer (factory scan tool is required for service)

I am getting poor gas milage on my 2001 saturn l200

These are the most common causes for bad mileage.
Tire pressure is a huge factor (Tire should be set at the factory recommendation or 1-2 psi above, but never below - Tire should also be a Low Rolling Resistance Tire)
Oil level (you said it's OK, so I assume it's not above the full mark)
Running extra accessories (A/C, etc)
Dirty Air Filter
bad Ignition timing
engine running hotter than normal
fuel injectors may be stuck partially open
bad fuel pressure regulator
faulty emission control device (this usually triggers a check engine light)
