The alarm on my 03 pilot spontaneously goes off with no theft attempt.
Yours and millions of others....... i defeated mine.
or move to a non earth quake zone? LOL !!!
ok, lets do the theory (day 1)
and alarm is just a small microprocessor in a box.
it's a Puter. (brain or a box of logic)
and as with all puters. bad inputs ,cause bad outputs (noise)
so 'got a bad input.
you have 2 choice, (3 kill it)
1: take it to any ASC mechaninc.
2: DIY, if DIY ,the get the FSM and read the Alarm page.
its in the book, read it. how to find the bad input.
some more modern alarms (vastly better) store what was the last
alarm, inputted. (get this data) RTM.
case in point, heavy trucks bounce down my sisters street
and shakes, car, and it has shake switch, we detune it and its ok now. just 1 example.. lots more. RTM.
SOURCE: Hi, I replaced my honda
In the newer Honda's there is a lock code on the radios when they lose power the code kicks in to prevent theft the reset code should be in your owners manual if it isn't call your locale Honda dealer.
SOURCE: Knock Sensor installation for 2003 Honda Pilot
I don't know where the knock sensor is exactly on this engine, but if you buy the replacement first it will help you identify it.
It's screwed into the block near the head or the head itself. It has an electrical connector attached to it (two wires, I believe).
The replacement is pretty simple: remove the electrical connector from the old one; screw it out with a wrench; screw the new one in and; plug the connector onto it.

if all others are working properly you are most likely having a problem with the door lock actuator in that door

yes reset by removing fuse or disconnecting battery make sure you have radio code if disconnecting battery. Problem may be oxy sensor in exhaust.
SOURCE: why does the alarm go off on my 2003 honda pilot
if you have a remote unlock it with the remote. when you lock the doors with the remote it arms the alarm-then if you dont unlock with the remote the alarm will not disarm
