It once put engine warning light on but when stopped and started again went off not come on since. last few times of starting it if you go to it its chugged a few times so stop then try again, 3rd or 4th time it will start straight away, its got worse wont start at all now just chugs. we think its the emobilizer/keys lost there coding?

I hadn't but I have had the car running in our driveway for about 20 mins with no change. After about 10 mins driving at around 50 to 80 kilos per hour is when it stops. So I gather that as it is not idling, then that may not be the problem.

I had a problem like this on my 95 gt 2,2 and it was the distributor cap and rotor. I changed fuel filter, fuel lines, etc. thinking it was fuel related, nope, cap and rotor and 10 minutes of labor and shes perfect.

thats a fuel related defect.empty your fuel tank then put in new fuel from a different gas station! if the problem continues then have the fuel tank cap replaced!!!!!! it might be blocked such that its building pressure in the tank!

yes it is a security feature call the dealer explaain the problem they have a simple solution it's just never cheep

It could be the torque converter is locking up. ie; like stopping with a manual transmission without putting your foot on the clutch pedal and releasing the clutch
