check your brake fluid for proper level if good check brake switch for fault and or brake s them selves for extreme wear or damage --also if light stays on constantly have vehicle scanned for a trouble code most auto stores offer this service for free

check your fuel pressure regulator.

Mu Sorento was hard to start. Eventually I noted that the coolant level was very low. When I filled ti, car started really fast. Another, hard to start, the brake fuel was very low, filled it and it started real fine. A coincidence or are there alarm settings there?

leds might be going out, which is unlikely with that new of a car. If you have to reset your computer after an oil change or anything of that nature, that may be your problem

make sure parking brake is off
take off caliper
pemove rotor
if the park brake shoes inside rotor are tight then you have to loosen the adjuster to remove
theres a hole in the rotor rotate it up and look through hole until you see the adjuster wheel loosen by rotating adjuster with flat blade screw driver

have alternator checked out.when you see battery warning light.that means battery not geeting charged by alternator.

usually you can reset a check engine light buy disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes.

Apparently this is a recall matter and will be fixed at no charge. KIA Consumer Assistance Center 1-800-333-4542. Recall notices were to go out in May/June 2009.
