SOURCE: 1990 jaguar xj-6 sometimes won't accelerate when pushing on pedal won't go

Yes it could be the mass airflow sensor, it could also be an O2 sensor, or the EGR valve.

SOURCE: very noisy squeky fron suspension on jaguar xj8

You might need a lube job or you may need to see if noise is coming from another place such as your engine water pump, brakes, power steering. Look for leaks.

SOURCE: I have a 1983 Jaguar

Hi,it certainly sounds like a fuse for the fuel pump ,or its the fuel pump itself ,the only other thing i would check is the fuel filter that may be blocked ,it will be 1 of the above ,i would check the fuse 1st ,then the filter 2nd ,and pull off the fuel line connected to the filter and have someone turn the key to start and access wether you have fuel pumping out ,it should squirt out violently if the fuel pumps working properly. Please point the fuel hose into a bottle while doing this test to minimise fire danger .THANK YOU for using FixYa

How do i fix my 1997 mercury grand marquis my air bag light flashs code 41

B1941 41 RH primary crash sensor feed/return circuit open GO to DTC B1941.
DTC B1941: RH PRIMARY CRASH SENSOR FEED/RETURN CIRCUIT OPEN- LAMP FAULT CODE 41

Normal Operation
The voltage at Pin C276-16, Circuit 617 (PK/O) is set by the air bag diagnostic monitor to be slightly less than battery voltage. Circuit 617 (PK/O) is connected to Circuit 624 (Y/W) inside RH primary crash sensor. Therefore, the voltage at Circuit 624 (Y/W) and air bag diagnostic monitor Pin C277-24 should be the same as the voltage at air bag diagnostic monitor Pin C276-16, Circuit 617 (PK/O).
The air bag diagnostic monitor periodically pulls the voltage at Pin C276-16, Circuit 617 (PK/O) low to verify the connection to Pin C277-24, Circuit 624 (Y/W). If the voltage at Pin C277-24, Circuit 624 (Y/W) does not pull low as a result of this test, the air bag diagnostic monitor will store in memory DTC B1941 and flash lamp fault code 41 on the AIR BAG indicator. If the connection between Pins C276-16, Circuit 617 (PK/O) and C277-24, Circuit 624 (Y/W) is later serviced, DTC B1941 will be stored in memory.
Possible Causes
Failure to get low voltage at Pin C277-24, Circuit 624 (Y/W) during the test can be caused by:
  • an open circuit in the wiring harness in either Circuit 617 (PK/O) or Circuit 624 (Y/W).
  • an open circuit inside RH primary crash sensor across Circuit 617 (PK/O) or Circuit 624 (Y/W).
  • a short to battery or ignition voltage in any of the Circuits 617 (PK/O), 619 (PK/W), 624 (Y/W), 625 (Y/LG).

Air suspension default line

unusual for only one corner to be out, the common problems are, air leaks, between valve block and suspension unit, ride level sensors, normally the clamp on the suspension corrodes and allows the sensor to float,it sounds like a air leak on that corner to me. you can buy a leak detection spray to help find the leak. the pump is also troublesome. located front bumper liner lh, but that would affect the whole system, I would check the plastic pipe is ok from the valve block to the suspension unit first, then get the fault codes out of the air suspension module, the valve block is in the boot spare wheel well. hope this helps.

I live in south Fl, and when the temp goes below 65 a message appears Air suspension fault and the ride is very bumpy. When it warms up, it rides fine! Whats up?? Thank-you!

the only thing will cause the fault light to come on is the pressure in the retention tank located in the trunk underneath the spare tire...,once the pressure drops, then the suspension pump relay makes the pump refil the tank...the cause of this is usually a leaking shock...normally they will leak around the upper caping...one sign is that the car will be lower overnite then normal or if it sits for a long period.if the front is lower then its a front shock..the bumpy ride is the fault system lowering the car from the leak while your riding..

My 1995 continental has severe ride problems bounces on every bump in the road front end sits low and rear seems normal

Sounds like the front "air ride suspension" is out.
That works off rubber bags built into the springs. If one or both has developed a leak/hile, it lets the front end (or rear or both) drop to ride on the bottom of the suspension.
Get the wallet out. It's expensive.
Sorry :-(
