I have a 99 ford explorer v6. In the past two months I have replace the fuel pump, fuel line, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, starter, the bank one O2 sensor, serviced my transmission and changed my oil. In the past day I have replaced the fuel line again, the fuel pump, the fuel pressure regulator, and the filter. It takes about thrirty seconds for my truck to turn over and finally start and once it does you cant give it hardly any gas or it loses all power. Also when you stop it tries to cut out on you if you dont keep giving it a little gas. We are completely baffled as to what it could be now.
You mention no check engine light, and all the work you've done leave one solution; Your catalytic converter is clogged.
When you replace you catalytic converter your issues will cease. This is a very common problem, and a simple fix.
I hope this information helps and I wish you luck with your repair.
Sound like plugged exhaust system. check the catalytic converter .
3 things I'd look at. First I would remove & clean IAC valve with throttle body cleaner spray, & port that it comes out of, put back & try it.
Next i would test "intake air temperature sensor", & The Mass air flow sensor. If you need step by step instructions on test procedures, go to Autozone.com & sign up for free, and get access to manuals. Go to emissions, then electronic engine controls on left.
