Kia Picanto 1.1 won't start.

You need an auto-electrician to connect a code reader or a pro grade scan tool computer that can scan data in real time. It will tell what is happening when the car starts to fail.

I drive a kia sportage 2007. When I press brake pedal twice or three especially when driving slowly, the pedal becomes stiff and the brakes seems to lock and car literally stops. However when i pump the...

Your problem is half normal actually. Pumping the brakes will build more pressure in the system and will make the pedal harder and the brakes will brake alot more, the brakes are designes this way. But if the brakes don't release after you let go of the pedal, that's not normal. If this is the case, there may be a few things that can be faulty, but i'd start by checking/replacing brake vacuum booster unit. If the unit is ok, then probably one of the calipers on the brakes are starting to jam due to rust and dirt, especially if you see the the rubber seals on the caliper pistons are damaged or missing.

Check for fault codes . You probably have a failing coil or faulty air ambient temp sensor or engine temp sensor faulty.

Automatic gearshift stuck in drive in kia 2007 rondo

Kia transmissions have become more complicated and parts such as the clutch, flywheel and torque converter can fail regardless of your driving habits. If your vehicle is beyond the warranty period I would still recommend your local Kia Dealer for repairs on this problem. A transmission problem is far to difficult to tackle for all but the most experienced mechanic.
