Beeps and flashes perform maintnance

Every time i start my 2004 jeep cheroke it beeps and reading says perform maintance

Hey, all you have to do is step through your menu until you get to your maintance. Then hold the reset button down and you will hear a beep and it will reset it to the next service time. Hope this helps, any more questions fell free to ask.

Rear the owners manual. It should be referring to an oil change needed but the mileage counter wasn't reset.

Ummm.Not much to go on but get the universal joints checked and also the driveshaft centre bearing.This is the one that supports the 2 piece driveshaft and is bolted up onto the chassis.Hope this helps

Your check engine light is letting you know the your car computer pick up a bad signal from one of your engine sensor's you need to have engine diag. done to correct the problem, some car have a maintance light which is just for maintance Hope this was helpful goodluck.

You have to manually reset it. Press the step button until miles to service comes up, then press and hold reset.

it can be reset from the over head buttons, with the door closed and the key on i believe you push step a few times until you see 0 miles left or something like that then hold reset.

If your engine light came on, the engine module could have stored a code.
You need to have a scanner to check what code it is and that will point you toward the solution.
Possible causes could be (crank sensor, tps sensor or oxygen sensor).
Don't go replacing parts until you scan the vehicle for codes first.
