20002 dodge stratus, drivers door lock switch does not work. Passenger side will lock/unlock all doors as well as the key fob, I replaced the switch and it has power to the switch.

Take a close look at the wiring and connections at the drivers door switch.

I would not go and fix the relays: those are inside the BCM or "Body Control Module" located under the dashboard to the extreme left or driver's side. Believe me, it is a nightmare to remove from the car and very expensive to repair at specialist shops.
In my 2002 Stratus Sedan R/T Turbo (Mexico), the door locks started to ignore the door switches or the remote at about two years from new, but as it was an intermittent failure, I didn't go to the dealer to fix it under warranty. But after two more years and just out of warranty, the failure was more frequent. After six years of use, all the doors were ignoring the commands from either the door mounted switches or the remote.

The thing is, "modern" cars are designed with too much reliance on software and computerized modules to perform simple tasks previoulsly done with simple wiring and relays. This is the case with the door lock actuated by a BCM. In the older Spirit, LeBaron, Reliant etc. generation designs, you had three wires to the small motor actuating the door lock mechanism. But some "too-intelligent" so called automotive designers decided a "better idea": to multiplex the lock/unlock commands on only two wires, "saving" a few feet of copper wires, but requiring the use of a complex Module, that ends up being much more costlier, heavier and unreliable! (but in that way the too-intelligent software (ab)using designers were happy).

I solved my problem by disconnecting the door locks wiring to the BCM and paid a much lower price to a technician that installs cheap car alarms that have their own remote control. In that way i saved about $350 USD... you decide what to do! Best Luck, Amclaussen.

You need to test the parts. Does the switch have continuity when actuated? If yes, check the wires for continuity. Will the actuator work when you apply power directly to it? If yes, test the wiring.

Maybe it's the door, not the fob. Have the lock motor and linkages checked.

check the interior light switch is working on all the doors. these control the security system.

The wires coming from your door through the hinge bend back and forth... they eventually break after let's say 11 years. :)

lock all doors then use key in front passenger door to unlock. that disables the alarm

Passenger door lock is electronically controlled by the door lock actuator. You will need to replace the door lock actuator.
