If it's just the pedal, then you can do it ultra cheap. If money has you seriously cramped and you want to replace the pedal yourself~ you can pick up an aftermarket pedal at AutoZone , Advance even Wal Mart for $20 and do it yourself. If you want to replace it with the factory pedal, you may have to pay a good bit more for the 'dealer' pedal~ but I would check the parts places and see if they have a good match at a better price anyway.

Vw golf se fsi 2006 30,000 miles. exhaust warning light on

If it is the 1.6 FSI model, it is very sensitive to the type of gasoline, it should be octane 97 or higher.
Very commonly, owners of this model use the 95 Octane gasoline, which seems to work ok, but the sensors in the exhaust (yellow motorwarning light) will eventually (can take a few years) clog up and you cant clean it or change the sensor easy either as you need to remove the whole exhaust system.

So either you let VW fix this for you (expensive) or you do it yourself (need a decent garage, equipment and a new sensor).

I have a vw golf mk 5 2.0 sdi, when engin starts, the whole engine shakes untill I drive the car. The after 3500 revs in some gears the car seams to ****!!

Check the VAG code. I had the same problem with my MK V 1.4 FSI. Let me guess when you rev it, it dusnt shake anymore?

It might be one of your cylinders are misfiring. And this might be faults with spark plugs, coil pack or the injector. You'll be lucky if it is the first two as they aren't much expensive to repair. It will cost you if it is the injectors.

I have a VW Golf 1.6 FSI 05 Reg, some times it drives like a dream and sometimes it feels like is struggling with loss of power, also, I lose power when the blower is switched on....help!!

could be numerous of thing and the list can go on, especially at times it run like a dream than other time it run horrible. Go to auto zone and have them plug it to computer for free and see if will throw a code, this way it will narrow it down instead of guessing and buying parts hoping that will fix the issue, this can be very expensive and there is no way to test the parts, beside checking the basic, plug, wires and coil. the computer will help narrow it down than guessing. then re post and one of us will try to walk you through it.

Hi. i have a 2004 2.0 gt fsi and it sounds like a diesel

the FSI engine is a direct injection engine and they can be noisy particulaly on idle ,if you have no other issues like warning lights lack of power and its always been like it then i sugest it is the nature of the beast .this is not ******** i am a vw master tech and have had many a conversation with customers about noisy FSI engines.hope this puts your mind at rest, alternativly go to VW dealer and get them to take a listen to confirm its normal.cheers

VW Golf 2004 2.0l GT TDI

We think it could be the engine management system - would recommend going to a reputable garage for it to be reprogrammed.
