Antifreeze seems to dissapear i think it is the head gasket but today the water pump was smoking and it over heated idk what the reall problem is. or could it be somthing totaly different

Hi,
I too think that replacing the head gasket would take care of these issues.
One possible theory why it overheated is that cylinders push pressure out to the coolant system, making bubbles all over, and pushing coolant in the "wrong" direction too.

Good luck.

I have a 2000 Chevy Impala 3.4 Liter engine no LS and it over heats when it wants to like it has a mind of it's own. I have to put coolant or water in there every few days cuz it keeps coming out, but I...

my guess is the coolant is going out the tailpipe, either an intake or a head gasket leak, pull the spark plugs any light color ones indicate coolant getting into the combustion chamber
