Most all of the newer ignition keys have an ID chip in them. If they are not programmed for your car they will not work.
The dealer would be a good source to get ignition keys for your specific automobile.

Daniel, If battery is known to be good, could be bad connections at battery, starter/solenoid, or ground on engine/frame, battery cables also could be bad with build up of corrosion internally. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Car won't Crank/start

With a voltage meter see how many volts are at the starter terminal. If not 12+ volts you have a bad connection. Check connection at the starter solenoid. Does it have 12+volts? Short the solenoid. Does it put voltage to the starter?

I have a buick regal 1997 and the lights are all on but the car won't start my window wipers work but my locks won't manually unlock from the inside

Does it start if you jump it? Just cause lights come on does not mean you have a good battery. The lights will require less amperage to work than the amperage required to crank the engine. Having stated that, how old is your battery? is your battery able to meet the demand? Have your starting and charging system looked at and good luck

My car won't start. everything comes on lights, radio, but it won't turn over. it goes tink tink tink under the hood when trying to start it.

check windowshied wiper motors after you turn on head lights and everything else...if window wipers dont work then its the battery going dead. try trickle charging the battery! make sure battery is not more than three years old, if it is, don't waste your time, its due for replacement anyway. if everything works then it could be wiring from the ignition key system or its been security locked out...that means the car thinks its been stolen and shuts the fuel system off. you can try to dissconnect the battery for about 15 minites then hook it back up to see if will start again.
