1998 grand Cherokee 4wd
when im driving and get near 60 to 70 mph the jeep shudders and if i let off the accelerator it stops and i can accelerate again and then it will happen intermittently any suggestions on what/why and how to fix.
thank you
I had the same problem with my pickup. thought it was unbalanced tires. turns out one of my spark plugs wasnt firing and throwing the motor out of balance. problem wasnt notices till i hit 65 - 70 mph
Have front end checked for worn parts. there is a few that can cause that symptom, and could be dangerous.
You may have worn out CV joints on the front wheel drive axles, they vibrate/shudder badly if they are really worn out.
