The exterior door handle on my 1993 Nissan pickup broke. I have a new handle but can't figure out how to remove the inside door panel to get to the area where I can remove the old handle and replace with new. I can't figure out how to remove the inside door handle and the window crank so the panel will come off. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Look for screws on the bottom of the door and inside the door handle there might be one on the arm rest to ....after doing that feel for the plastic stud that hold the door panel on ... once removing the panel you will see plastic covering the hole door remove that only near the top left hand side ( or right if your replacing the passenger side).... you will then see a a hole big enough for your hand to go through ...remove your door handle nuts from there be careful not to drop the nuts .... there will be a rod that goes to the door handle on the inside remember the way it clips on or take a picture your choice ...... removing the lock from the door handle is easy once it has been removed from the door ... i would practice removing the lock from the spare part to get some kind of idea on how to remove the lock ......If this helps please vote
