Zab, First things first, check for any vacuum leaks, hoses that are disconnected, cracked or just plain worn out. Also check for vacuum leaks around the throttle body.
It really sounds like you have an EGR valve that is stuck open ever so slightly. The MAP sensor is a result of a low manifold vacuum. The IAC (idle air control) motor is trying to compesate and keep the engine running resulting in the high idle speed. I would remove the EGR valve and clean it gently with a brush and pick to remove any carbon build up.
Let me know, regards.

use carb cleaner spray on the inside of the throttle body.
use super unlead only to prevent buidup.
cold engine only.
hope this helps
thank you

SOURCE: high idle
Clean the Idle Air Control Valve. It's on the throttle body below the Throttle Position Sensor. Worked for me! Good luck.

Best bet is to clear the memory so things can relearn quicker. It could tak a few days of driving to relearn if you dont. If you dont have a scanner then try to clear bu disconnecting the battery for a few minutes

There is no idle adjustment. The idle is computer controlled. It does sound like you have a vacuum leak. The most common problem for this is a bad intake gasket. When it is running ruff spray a little carb spray around the area where the intake bolts to the head. If the engine smooths out you found your problem.
Please be careful when doing this. Carb spray is flammable!

Engine stalls or RPM
fluctuates at idle up and down or dies near idle.
This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve but always run a OBD2 fault code as well as the cleaning procedure. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control
