2006 Honda Odyssey slide door light on.

Here are the codes you posted along with the possible issues that may have caused each code to be triggered. It's possible the circuit these switches share has a problem that needs to be diagnosed.

It could well be a problem with the wiring or a problem with the connections between the switches and the Multiplex Control Unit, or possibly with the Multiplex Control Unit itself.

Check debris in the key fob. Over time, dust and dirt may be causing the circuitry to track/short out and implement odd functions.

Wing mirrors will not adjust

Hi Michelle , what make model an year vehicle ? On some vehicles this is function is controlled by a door module .

In order to control outside rearview mirror operations, as well as other door functions, the front door modules must be powered up. For this purpose, battery voltage is supplied from the rear fuse block, through separate circuits, to each front door module. Each front door module is separately grounded through a ground stake. The front door modules also use these power and ground supplies to drive the mirror motors, and to provide power and ground to window and lock switches and door lock actuators. In addition, the driver door module (DDM) uses these power and ground supplies to power the driver door switch assembly (DDSA) and integral mirror control switches.
Could have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in BCM - body control module .

The truck release does not respond to the key fob or the door release. Driver door lock does not respond to the fob or the number pad on the door.

The best place to start is take it an have it checked for DTC'S -diagnostic trouble codes ! Not with a code reader ,as these just read OBD2 codes .Not Body control module codes >

Why does my nissan maxima door locks unlock themselves and there is a clickng sound

It sounds like there is an electrical fault with the Remote locking circuit. When you lock the vehicle, without seeing the schematic electrical drawing, there is a relay that will operate to lock the doors. This applies power to the small motors installed within the doors, that operate the locks open/close (Lock/Unlock). Generally there is an electrical componet that by passes the relay once the doors are locked so it doesnt burn out, e.g Capacior. With that in mind, if this component is shorting out, power will be applied and/ or released from the holding circuit which in turn, will operate the vehicles locking mechanism.
Best way forward
1. If you have a Gregorys manual, available from Super Cheap Auto for under $50, it will have the Electrical circuit drawing for the Door locks, if it's standard fit to the path finder. You will be able then, with the use of a Multi meter, to check out where power is getting to or not (12V dc).

2. If not give the Auto electrician $50 to fix.

As the Nissian is 24 years old, I would be looking for a electrical component failure.

I hope this helps you out mate,
Stevie C.

Short in electrical system

The electrical wires going to the power windows and speakers and locks all go through the A pillar and into the door down by where the hinges are at. When you open the door you will see what looks like a boot between the door and the A pillar, this is where the wires run through. After a period of time these wires inside this boot can become chaffed or broken and can short out and cause the problem you are having. You need to open the door and pull the boot towards the door exposing the wiring. You will need to inspect these wires very carefully and check for chaffing or broken wires and repair. The hardest part is finding the bad wire on this job. You might have to remove the drivers side kick panel and look where they come thru the A pillar. Hope this helps.
