Depending on the year make and model of this car the lines are diffrent, the code you have have is a leak code, start with the gas cap, make sure it is tight and not loose, take a look at the rubber o ring on gas cap, check for cracks, a smoke machine would be a good tool here otherwise you will need to check all the lines but most of the time it is a cap or valve but with out car info it is hard to help you further

Well it could be as simple as a new gas cap, or clean seal on it & tighten again. There are a few other items in the system too, but one common one is the vapor canister gets plugged up with dust & dirt.

Error code P0446 is an Evaporative Control System vent control
malfunction. DTCs P0441 and P0446 are recorded by the ECM when
evaporative emissions leak from the certain components, or when there
is a malfunction in either the VSV for EVAP, the VSV for
pressure switching valve, or in the vapor pressure sensor itself.
P0446....Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit
something is wrong with vapour control system ,could just be a `perished rubber pipe along the line somewhere and you will have to look and check it all ,and renew the pipe as necessary
P0446....Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit
