I have a 97 chevy lumina and after about 2 hours of driving one day it just completly stopped while driving. Waited a few minutes and it started back up 5 minutes later it just quit again. Had it towed home and tried test driving it again 3 days later it drove fine for about 10 minutes but then completly stopped again. what could be the problem
I need location of where this tcc solenoid is located on 97 chev. lumina so i can change part
Sounds like a combination fuel pump/ fuel filter problem. Try changing the fuel filter first (cheapest first--always) and se what happens. Then you may have to swap out the fuel pump.
When the fuel pump gets clogged it causes excess wear on the fuel pump causing it to overheat and shortens the life.

the second time it did it the starter went out. when i tried to start it a couple days later before changing the starter it started just fine then the starter went out again.ive been told it could be the mass inflow sensor, dead gas, timing belt, and a electrical problem. Not exactly sure what tho
