Change out Front Struts
If you've never done them before it could be very dangerous I've seen experienced mechanics have them fly across the room, and thank God , no-one was standing in the path. There are other parts that should probably be replaced when doing the struts, like upper mounts/bearings etc., otherwise you may be sorry you didn't real soon, from the grinding, thumping etc. What most guys are doing these days, is buying the "Quick Strut kits" or whatever name your supplier may be using. Basically it's a complete new strut, spring, bearing/mount assy., all in one, already done for you. You just unbolt from above & below & switch them. Price it out & see if it isn't too bad, I'd go with that, then you also pay for one alignment. Many a guy has changed struts, got alignment, then bearing/mounts started making noise, then changed them, which basically means all the same work again, and another alignment. Up to you, but I'd think about it if those other parts haven't already been changed. Hopefully you can get a credit back on struts you bought to put toward complete assy.Check out this link to autozone. http://www.autozone.com/R,2624239/vehicleId,2316702/initialAction,partProductDetail/store,/partType,00660/shopping/partProductDetail.htm
