Dealer says 3 of the 4 stabilizer bars need to be replaced ($1200.00). If these are worn is there a cheaper way to do this myself without replacing the bars or should I bite the bullet?
If you are any kind of car savy then you can do this yourself. Go to your local parts store and buy the stabalizer link kits. The stabalizer links are located behind the tires and bolt to the struts at the top and the stabalizer bar on the bottom. You don't need any special tools for this project and the stabalizer bars will cost you anywhere from 30-65 dollars a piece.
