Definition of Diagnostic Trouble Code P0841
Category:
Powertrain
Definition:
Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Range/PerformanceNote: This definition of P0841 is applied to all manufacturers
Google the code OBD PO741- should be a Torque Converter Solenoid acting up or stuck off I think that will be a fun job to get the cover off the trans to replace. Try & find the best trans shop around Local family business, not a franchise
The Knock Sensor is very easily replaced. A better scanner
will tell you which sensor is going bad on your transmission. An
Autozone code reader will not tell you which sensor on the trans. is
acting up. Most sensors on your trans. are very easity replaced as
well. They just screw in and plug it. It's worth paying to get a "real"
scan done. The trans. sensors are inexpensive and you can replace any other your listed sensors yourself.
The information I can find on this shows a code 15, not 16. It shows it as a problem with the #1 shift solenoid or it's harness. Causing different internal transmission concerns. The book I found shows no code 16,this could be a miss print. Either way, this is a concern that appears to be an internal trans. problem.Good luck.
