In my 1993 subaru Impreza WRX i had that issues one day. I turned my car off, and got out, locked the door and walked away, and looked back to see that the brake lights were still on, as well as the side parking lights. I checked to see if all the switches were off, and they were. I realized t hat there is a small switch on top of the steering wheel base that keeps the lights on for some odd reason. god knows why t hey put it there, but that should be one fix for people that own this car, hope this helps.
