2003 saturn ion problems. my saturn ion will crank over and start but will shut right off. my dash and my radio will not work. what could be the problem with my car?

Turn the vents sideways and pull gently. they are a bit difficult, but they are just clipped in.

I am not a mechanic and have had no problems with my 2005 Ion-2 but at msn/autos I see that these can exhibit a starting problem because of the ignition switch which they recommend replacing. The part is around $40 & the labor is 1 hr.

there is a manual switch that is located near the trunk latch for a safty lockout it might have been switched by accident look to make sure.hope this helps.
