2006 dodge pickup 2500 4X4 suddenly started having vibration in front end at speeds over 60mph. When hit a bump the right way the truck got the death shake in the steering wheel and felt as if I was loosing control. Repair shop replaced ball joints, front hubs, steering stabilizer shock, u-joints in the rear drive shaft, and front shocks. Now I have continuous vibration in front end but does feel tighter than before. All tires were checked and balance is fine. Any clues as to what else this could be?
It is likely both your track bar and the lack of a steering gear box stabilizer. The bushings on your stock track bar can be replaced with polyeurethane or metal bushings which will help curb the problem.
The steering stabilizer attaches to your steering gear box and your frame allowing the steering to be more stable. I have put both on my truck and it drives like a caddy now as a result. If I had to choose between the two items, my money would go to the steering stabilizer first. I believe I bought mine here:

try replacing the hub bearings
my truck does the same thing.high speed death woble
does it go away when apply brakes?it could be the steering linkage itself..check tie rods, drag link for looseness and if they swing freely back and forth..have encountered tis problem once..truck felt like was going bounce right off the road..let me know
have you added any kind of suspension lift to the truck?
