It is located on left frame rail under air cleaner housing..small solid state relay,held on with 2 screws..4 wire connector..under housing where air filter is held..not up top

make sure the electrical connector is connected properly.there is also a relay that controls the fans.it sounds like the fans were working before the rad was changed so its probably something simple.make sure the cooling system is full of coolant as if its low the sensor that sends the signal to the computer to turn on the relay to turn on the fans may not be getting reading the proper temperature.
HOT WIRE COOLANT FAN. STILL DONT TURN ON REPLACE FAN ASSEMBLY. IF COOLANT FAN DOES TURN ON WHEN HOT WIRED.CHECK THE FAN RELAY OR FUSE ALSO SCAN VECHICLE FOR FAULTY COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR IF ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE IS 190 DEGREES AND SCANNER SHOWS 80 OR LOWER COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR FAULTY.
Other than the thousands of dollars you could spent repairing the air conditioning system, rack and pinion, evap codes, brakes, sway bar links, coolant pipes, speed sensors, automatic sliding door harnesses, and cooling fan relays they are pretty good vehicles.
dont think so,seem to remember a reostat somewhere at the bottom of the rad right hand side ,check for earth problems as well ,sorry if vague but i seem to be forgetting things as i get old .
check for battery power at pin 4 of rad fan relay connector..ground at pin 1..jump pins 3 and 4..fans should work..if not,check harness about 3-4 inches away from relay connector..have seen these corrode..if fans work,the engine controller may not be grounding relay..any codes in engine controller?engine light on?
