Not sure of your vehicle but it is not likely that it's part of the EGR valve although you need to make sure the gasket for the EGR valve isn't leaking because leaking exhaust will set this code. Does your vehicle have a EGR solenoid/transducer. The reason I ask is because in Chrysler products the EGR valve and transducers are calibrated together and this may be causing the EGR to open to much and exhaust will leak. I serious don't that it has anything to do with the EGR valve you just replaced however. I think you just have another problem. That's my opinion anyway. The possible causes of the code is:
• Leakage exhaust gas
• Rear HO2S malfunction
• IAT sensor malfunction
• ECT sensor malfunction
• Front HO2S malfunction
• Excessive fuel line pressure
• Fuel pump unit malfunction
• Purge solenoid valve malfunction
• Insufficient engine compression
• PCM malfunction
Find out about the transducer and then go from there like O2 sensors as well as the other possible causes. I wish I could be more help and I hope this helped a little anyhow. Good luck.
