Honda CRV 2002 Power Door lock

My power door lock is malfunctioning.  It will lock all the doors except the drivers.  If I lock the doors without the fob they will not unlock with the fob.  Also, the beep alarm for leaving your lights on quit working a while back.  Could these things be related?  All help with this is appreciated.

I have the same issue, the driver's door actuator only works about 20% of the time. When it doesn't work it keeps the rest of the doors from locking or unlocking.

Try testing or replaceing the drivers door lock actuator, reprogram ur key fobs and try unlocking and locking ur doors. as far as the lights and reminder,....it sounds like a seperate problem. but try the door actuator first (drivers side always act up and cause every other actuator to act up... like a bad kid that gets the rukkus started and ruins things for everyone..

Only my driver side power door lock on my 2001 honda crv awd works with or without remote. All 3 other doors stopped working. Why?

Look in the owners manual to see if you have a child lock out switch or button. I have seen it where the child lock out prevented the locks and windows from operating, except on the driver side.

Honda crv door lock

Start by having your car checked for a Trouble Code. Many Auto Parts stores do it for free. It seems to be a security issue that keeps locking the door. It is a system which works separate from all the other systems in your car.

I need to replace drivers door lock actuator on my 2005 honda crv but the door is locked and wont open. any suggestions for opening the door would be appreciated.

You can get the door panel off without the door being open, it is very difficult but doable. The other choice is to have a locksmith come out and open the door manually with a slim jim.

The remote locks and unlocks all doors except the driver side, only the key can be used to do that with this door. If the key is used to lock, then the remote cannot be used to unlock. From the inside, the...

I think you will have to start looking at the wires that go into the door by the hinge it could be a simple broken wire but you might have to remove the door panel to gain access to the locking solonoid by the door lock and check for power to it when operated, or the link that connects it having fallen off. (if fitted with a link, but normally are). No power to the solonoid is probably a broken wire or dirty connection, power but no movement is probably a stuck (seized up) or burnt out link/lock/solonoid.

Drivers door will not open with key or battery hand piece,,other doors okay with both. 2002 crv

-If the problem is that keyless remote does unlock or lock door, but the lock lever still move when pulling up and down by hand. Door still open and close with both inner and outer, then might the driver door lock actuator is bad. The actuator lock and unlock the door for you when using the keyless remote or door lock/unlock switch.

-if you try using the key to unlock door and the key doesn't turn the door cylinder, then you have a bad door lock cylinder.

-if the lock lever doesn't move up or down and you can't open door using any handle, then you got a bad lock latch assembly.

I'm not sure what the issue is but hope this helps you.
