P1676 error on a ford excape - what is the cause of this error code

Is this Autozoned code? or a real scan tool. for modern cars.

did they show you, tell you or did you write it down wrong?



do post what tool produced this code, its rare.



a Honda Ford? really??? is this an engine swap?

if not a honda. you might want to post to Ford, as we dont have books on fords here.

but like all DTCs there are many causes, and the tech does the test

stated in the FSM. got FSM? factory service manual... youd need that.



no engine stated, or any year, Ford, so not possible to answer lacking that..

P1 xxx means factory ford only code. do not read other makers of cars codes, just ford. or fail big time..



i looked from 05 to 2011 codes for ford escape and get zero
