You may have cooked the fuel pump, or plugged up the filter.
The pump is in the gas tank and needs liquid gasoline to keep it cool and lubed. Any car with fuel injection should never be run below 1/4 tank.
Check the fuel pressure at the injectors.
More like fuel pump damaged. gasoline keeps fuel pump cool and lubricated if fuel tank run empty fuel pump will over heat which will destroy it. never run out of gas.fuel filter will get plugged with debris from fuel tank when tank runs empty all sediment botton tank will break up stop up fuel filter.

i would check the connectors under the dash they have a tendancy to get loose are get hot and short a fuse this is most likely the problem...please rate this....

You need to have your engine flushed and cleaned out. One or more of your spark plugs aint firing. You need to replace them all to include the wires as well. If you dont get your engine flushed, you could blow your engine up.

hi, try to check if the fuse is ok, if not then you must have some problem on your fuel sending unit, you may need to replace it for it may be faulty, it happens when its too old, hope this helps.
