SOURCE: I have a 2004 infiniti sedan g35... the pass side seat does not

i just fixed this problem - the switch is bad - take out the seat - 4 bolts on the bottom 4 corners and then remove the whole switch - either buy a new one around $200 or unsauter the switch and clean it but be careful as there are a lot of parts inside that can fall out. i cleaned mine and it works fine beats spending the money.

Not uncommon for the LED in the switch to "burn out". If the seat heater function is normal and the only problem is with the switch illumination a switch is available seperately and can be easily replaced.

SOURCE: 2004 infiniti g35 sports coupe - passenger window

Typical G35 problem.

I believe my coupe had both of it's regulators replaced by the previous owner before I bought it.

They aren't cheap, but are pretty easy to swap yourself. Give Tony at Riverside Infiniti a call. He has some great prices (personal friend of mine).

Or check EverythingG35.com (Infiniti of Scottsdale).

Where is the power window relay located in a 2002 mercury villager?

Principles of Operation
The driver power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the master window/door lock/unlock switch (and its integrated "auto down" module). Power is supplied to the power window relay and the master window/door lock/unlock switch, and the passenger power window switch when the SEC/timer module grounds the coil side of the power window relay. The SEC/timer module will ground this relay when the ignition is in the ON position and will remain energized for approximately 15 minutes or until the driver or passenger door is opened.
The driver power window regulator motor is a reversible motor that is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The passenger power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the passenger power window switch and can also be controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch.
The passenger power window regulator motor is a reversible motor, which is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The power rear quarter glass is also directly controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch. The power rear quarter glass power latches also utilize reversible motors. The power rear quarter glass power latches are operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to open the window, and then reversing polarity on those same leads to close the window.

Did you check for battery voltage at the switch , with a volt meter before you replaced the main driver door switch ? Maybe you'll want to take this to pro ,instead of just replacing parts !

2004 Saturn Ion 3 power windows inoperative

Glad you figured it out, Chuck. A good fix. BTW, that brown hot wire does not go up to switch. It comes from the fuse panel, on a circuit that receives power when key is on. It may be broken in or on one side of the boot. When I found a broken ground wire for my windows there, I did not have to cut the boot, but compressed it back and forth till seeing the break. You may be of the mind set "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", as I tend to be, so I'll, leave it at that. It IS nice to have power windows again.

It has to be the switch or the wiring, right? So pull out the switch and probe the back with a volt meter to see if power is coming out of the switch. If yes, trace the wires to the doors.
